Global Creative President, TBWA\Worldwide and MAL\FOR GOOD
Duncan is global creative president for TBWA Worldwide, working on key domestic and international accounts, and the global creative leader for MAL\FOR GOOD, the TBWA collective’s social impact agency.
Born out of the vision of Media Arts Lab Chairman Lee Clow, MAL\FOR GOOD delivers innovative, inspiring models of brand building, ideas, storytelling and social movement models. The agency focuses on clients and projects that help brands do good in the world, including clients XQ from the Emerson Collective and Conservation International. MAL\FOR GOOD is headquartered in Los Angeles and works with TBWA offices globally.
Duncan co-founded TBWA\Media Arts Lab and helped grow it to over 800 employees globally since 2006. As Chief Creative Officer, he helped launch the iPod, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. This work includes the iconic “Mac vs. PC” campaign, which was named Campaign of the Decade by Adweek.
Duncan’s influence has been recognized at numerous awards shows including the 2013 Cannes Press Grand Prix for the launch of the iPad Mini, a 2014 Emmy Award for best commercial for Apple’s holiday spot “Misunderstood, and Apple’s “World Gallery (Shot on iPhone 6)” campaign that won the 2015 Cannes Grand Prix and Grand Clio for Outdoor. In 2015, he was named to Fast Company’s Creative 50. In 2017, TBWA\Media Arts Lab and Apple were awarded the One Show’s Penta pencil, which recognizes the successful partnership and outstanding body of work between agency and client over a five-year period.
Born in Jamaica, Duncan now lives near the beach in Los Angeles with his wife and three children and in his spare time is an avid sports dad and occasional referee on the weekends.
