This Holiday Season "Let's Open Doors to the Lonely"

TBWA\WorldHealth London created a new holiday initiative to bring awareness of an important issue affecting the lives of many this season — loneliness.
This year, the agency focused their time creating calendars for the lonely, instead of sending corporate greeting cards. Through their “Open Doors” initiative, a calendar door will be opened everyday with a new task to follow.
Loneliness can impact people of all ages, has been associated with early death and is linked to a number of health issues. In fact, 43% of 17-25-year-olds say they have experienced problems with loneliness, 24% of parents say the are always or often lonely and 40% of older people say the television is their main form of company.
Whether it’s making a phone call to a family member you’ve lost touch with or smiling to a few strangers during your day, there’s a way for everyone to reach out and make a difference in the lives of those struggling with loneliness.
