London & New York, 11 June 2014 – TBWA was today announced as Sotheby’s (BID) global strategic and creative agency partner. The TBWA\London office, which has been working on a project basis with Sotheby’s over the past two months will lead the account.
Sotheby’s, founded 1744, is a pioneering art business that operates 90 offices in 40 countries, with principal salesrooms located in New York, London, Paris, Geneva and Hong Kong. Sotheby’s has broadened its focus from an iconic auction house to include branded private gallery sales, art-related financing, retail wine and diamonds, and global education offerings. It is the oldest company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (BID).

TBWA’s remit includes a global brand campaign as well as marketing and advertising activities to support key auctions.
